Fundraising fashion show to benefit girls' choir (St. Lucie News Tribune)

— Soroptimist International of St. Lucie will host the Spring Fancy Tea and Fashion Show at the Pelican Yacht Club on Seaway Drive on Feb. 26 from 2 to 5 p.m.

Doors open at 1:30 p.m. Fashions provided by Alisari of historic downtown Fort Pierce. An array of teas, coffee and desserts are offered and a cash bar. An ensemble from the Avenue D Girls Choir will also perform.

Tickets are $35, prior to the event, or $40 at the door.

Proceeds will benefit the choir.

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - February 12, 2010) - Under the tents at Bryant Park, "The Heart Truth's" Red Dress Collection Fashion Show unveiled its 2010 collection of red dresses designed to celebrate the Red Dress as the national symbol for women and heart disease awareness. More than 20 of today's hottest celebrities walked the runway in dresses created by America's top designers to inspire women to take action to protect their heart health.

"The Heart Truth®" is a national awareness campaign for women about heart disease sponsored by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), part of the National Institutes of Health, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

American Idol winner Adanm Lambert is becoming a big fashion show.

He is teasing paparazzi and fans with his outfits and looks. On other day the media spelled the rumour that Adam is preparing a big performance on a secret show, but no details were revealed.

There is also a chance to see your idol performing live tracks off his best-selling debut album, "For Your Entertainment." iHeartRadio is holding a contest for tickets to this invite-only super secret performance that will take place on Monday, February 15, in New York City.

"It has been announced that Adam Lambert will be performing a private concert in New York City on Monday, February 15. The singer, who lost to Kris Allen on season eight of American Idol, will take the stage at the PC Richard & Son Theater at 7 P.M. and perform in front of the winner(s) of a contest held by iHeartRadio. To win tickets for the 'Whadaya Want from Me' singer's invite-only show, contestants need to get glammed up. […] The entry must be submitted before February 12 at 6 P.M. EST."
