Halo Salon hosts 1st Annual Zombie Fashion Show (News 12 Augusta)

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Halo Salon and Spa on Broad Street hosted their 1st Annual Zombie Fashion Show in Downtown Augusta Friday night.

Ten models had their make up done by Lauren King and their hair done by Nicky Powledge and Jessica Eidelman of the salon to make them look like Zombies.

The event was to let people know they could have their hair and make up done for Halloween by the salon.

After the fashion show the models who walked the runway on Broad Street, walked around the rest of First Friday in their costumes.

Roswell - A fall fashion show and champagne luncheon fundraiser will be held Oct. 17 at 1 p.m. at the Unitarian Church at 11420 Crabapple Road in Roswell.

Proceeds benefit the Cherokee Country Humane Society's spay and neuter programs.

This year's fifth annual event will feature fashions by Fresh Produce Sportswear from The Avenue East Cobb. There will be a silent auction and door prizes.

Tickets are $30, which includes luncheon catered by Talk of the Town and Aunt Kimmie's Creations. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
