Ballenas grads are busy organizing a fashion show fundraiser for February 10. Organizers said 30 to 40 students will showcase about eight outfits each, including a set done by student Michelle Larsen of her own original designs. Last year's grad class co-organized a fashion show with the chamber of commerce in May, but this year the students are putting on the event themselves. There will be fashions by A to Zebra, Disco Lemonade, Mercedes Lane, Olympic fashions by the Bay and fashionable prom ensembles available for $5 from the SOS (Society of Organized Services). Tickets are available at participating businesses or by calling Jen at 250-954-7324. Doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7 p.m. writer@pqbnews.com Five Filters featured article: Chilcot Inquiry. Available tools: PDF Newspaper, Full Text RSS, Term Extraction. |
