Just because the Phoenix and Scottsdale Fashion Weeks are all wrapped up doesn't mean fashion season is over.

Schumacher Mercedes Benz in Scottsdale presents its third annual fashion show, combining stylish threads and luxury cars at the swanky Montelucia Resort & Spa. Banana Republic, which recently launched a new concept store, and luxury jean line 7 For All Mankind, will be presenting.

"The event is an experience and the dcor and atmosphere is just as important as the show," said Joe Patti of the J Group, which organizes the event. "This is for guys who want to check out the cars, girls who want to check out the fashion, and everyone to enjoy hanging out at the bar."

The first event took place at the Schumacher dealership with an elevated runway and slick cars surrounding the stage. About 1,200 people showed up. High-end designers from New York and Los Angeles, such as Sue Wong and Duncan Quinn, were flown out to present their lines.

This year, the buzz of the new wing at Scottsdale Fashion Square prompted organizers to showcase some of those new stores and styles accessible to more people. This year the 7 For All Mankind will present its first fashion show in Arizona.

"It's exciting and we really just want to let people know that we are here in the Valley," said Erin Bodine, a representative for the brand. "We also want people to know that we don't just offer denim, and sell a variety of clothes like shoes, outerwear and accessories."

Like the venue and cars, Bodine said, the outfits will be sleek and sophisticated. The women's line will consist of "blue shades, cool neutrals and whimsical prints," and the men's designs will be "reminiscent of miners work wear but well-crafted." And in the spirit of the holiday season, a lot of the looks will have some "bling and glamour" that can serve as evening wear.

Valley veteran DJ P-Body will spin beats while the models strut the runway.

The show was supposed to take place at the Schumacher showroom again, but interest in the event was high enough that it was moved to the resort.

"We are doing a completely different set up in the ballroom with the runway that will be on the ground, level with guests, and similar to one you would see at a show in New York," Patti said. "Half of the room will be divided into a sleek ultra lounge with furniture where people can hang out and socialize before the show. Following the show, there will be cocktail hour at the Mbar."

Ticket prices were also dropped so more people could attend.

"More than ever, especially now, we want people to come out and see the show," Patti said. "It's not just about making money. We just want people to experience this event."

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Junior Achievement Foundation, a national charity that helps prepare young people for real world experiences.

Hpnotiq will sponsor the event with wintery cocktail Bubbles n' Blue, a blend of the electric blue liqueur laced with champagne.
