This charitable event takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, at the Club at Champion Hills.
Models will be accompanied by dogs available for adoption from Blue Ridge Humane Society. Fashions will be provided by Sanctuary of Hendersonville, a popular women's clothing store downtown.
In addition to perky pups and fabulous fashions, there will be a raffle table filled with wonderful items. The event will highlight the Animal Adoption and Rescue Center (AARC) Angel Program, which allows individuals who cannot or do not want to adopt another pet the opportunity to provide support for an adoptable animal at Blue Ridge Humane Society that is awaiting a new home.
Champion Hills is a new venue for the fashion show and luncheon. The country club's executive chef has planned a luncheon comprised of a salad of mixed greens, raspberries, candied almonds and chicken with sauteed Panko-breaded goat cheese. White chocolate mousse with seasonal red berries will be served for dessert. Each guest will receive a complimentary mimosa.
Tickets, $40 with $20 tax-deductible, are available at the Henderson County Visitors Information Center at 201 S. Main St., Hendersonville. All proceeds benefit Blue Ridge Humane Society, a non-profit organization working to improve the lives of animals in Henderson County through adoption, collaboration and community outreach.
