Latina magazine and clothing company Southpole will present a workshop Wednesday, March 10, at The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College at the Arts Center in Brownsville. A Southpole fashion show Thursday, March 11, will be held at the South Padre Island convention center.

"The Next Generation of Fashion Stars," an educational workshop, will include professionals in the fashion industry such as designers, models, stylists and Latina and Southpole marketing directors to discuss fashion as a career. The panel will present insight into the best college courses, internships and other advice to about 500 high school and college students.

Southpole will show off its Fall/Winter 2010 collection at a fashion show on the Island. Following the fall fashion preview is a reception for those attending to interact with the Southpole models.
